Neither line sails from Galveston right now. Princess left in March 2026 after cancelling its 2026–27 season, and Celebrity isn't in the port's schedule at all. MSC still sails the route Princess ran, every Sunday.

No. Some booking sites still have Galveston pages for Princess, and some parking lots still advertise "Carnival and Princess", but the port's calendar has no Princess sailings from April 2026 through December 2027, the last month it lists.

Princess began sailing from Galveston almost 20 years ago. The last stretch ended in March 2026. Princess gave a fleet redeployment as the reason and didn't name a Galveston problem. The port's director said at the time that the port "would welcome them back".

Celebrity Cruises lists these US departure ports: Boston, Cape Liberty in New Jersey, Fort Lauderdale, Honolulu, Los Angeles, Miami, Port Canaveral, San Juan, Seattle, Seward and Tampa, plus New York and San Diego. Galveston isn't among them.
From Texas, the nearest choices are the Florida ports, Tampa among them. If you'd rather sail from Galveston, Royal Caribbean belongs to the same company as Celebrity and sails here all year.
