Our take

Who it suits

Galveston's coolest little hotel, right across from the beach.

Grab a coffee at The Den, then cross the boulevard to Lucine Beach, where chairs and umbrellas are free on weekends. Swim in the courtyard pool in the afternoon, catch the sunset with a cocktail on the rooftop, and finish with dinner at The Fancy. Guests rate it 9.0 out of 10. Bringing your dog? One dog up to 40 lb is welcome. Sailing? The port is five minutes away, and the hotel can arrange your ride.

Our price check: $362 for Friday, November 13, 2026 (2 adults, 1 night, with taxes).
